Josh

Born and raised in south Georgia, Josh’s formative music years were grounded in the classic rock music enjoyed by his parents: Zeppelin, the Stones, Floyd, Sabbath, Hendrix, Skynard, the Allman Bros, The Doors, The Who, Aerosmith, and of course The Beatles.

With the influence of these rock n’ roll giants, he took up guitar at the age of 14 with a passion that echoed his heroes. From the British Invasion of the 60’s right on through to grunge in the 90’s, rock n’ roll was in his blood!

Josh made Nashville his home in 2011, where he began to carve out his place in Music City by working with various artists and bands to keep rock n’ roll and the music of The Beatles alive.

Since 2014, he has been active in bands that celebrate The Beatles and the early rock n’ roll that influenced them. He has had the honor of performing at many popular music festivals (e.g. Abbey Road On The River, FabFest) in additional to numerous clubs and theaters across the southeast!

With Beatles 4 Sale, Josh is eager to bring a unique brand of fiery guitar playing, fun, and nostalgia to the many music fans who wish to relive the early days of the Fab Four!

Long Live Rock n’ Roll!

Q & A

1. Favorite Beatles Album: Wait, I gotta pick ONE?? Ok, #1 on my favorite list will always be Abbey Road. It made a huge impact on me the first time I listened to it as a teenager. A very, very, VERY close second is Revolver!

2. Favorite Beatle: My favorite Beatle is easily George Harrison. His style brought together all of the styles of all the great guitarists before him (Chet Atkins, Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins); but also he took the instrument in a direction that was uniquely his.

3. Who are some of your musical influences: My musical influences will come as no surprise: Chuck Berry, Clapton, Jimmy Page, Slash, Billy Corgan (I’m a child of the 90s, what can I say?). Oh and of course this lil’ no-name band called The Beatles. Maybe you’ve heard of them.

4. Current Artist you are listening to: Since I was a wee lad in the 90’s the Smashing Pumpkins have been one of my favorites. They continue to put great music and push the boundaries. I am always trying to keep up with all that Billy Morgan and the gang are up to!

5. Favorite food on the road: My favorite food would be a perfectly pan-seared filet mignon, garnished with a bit of rosemary and paired with an aromatic, medium-bodied pinot grigio….Ha! Nah I’m just pulling your leg. It’s tacos!
