Adam

Adam Therrien hails from a far off land called Massachusetts. As a kid, he grew up on a steady diet of The Beatles, Nirvana, Clapton, The Who, The Beach Boys, Elvis, Pearl Jam, Eddie Cochrane, and anything else that rocks. He got his first electric guitar at the age of ten, and all other career aspirations went out the door. Following that, it was high school and college bands such as Mickey Finn, The Prosperous Boat People (a Weezer Tribute band), Ambershed, and a small stint as the drummer for The Screw Drivers.

In July of 2009, he happily relocated to Nashville as the lead guitarist for world renowned 50's Elvis impersonator, Travis Ledoyt. After four years of extensive world touring, he decided to pursue his love of different musical styles and started multiple tribute bands such as: Good Rockin’ Tonight (50s rock), The Hackey Sacks (90s rock), Johnny Jameson and the Empty Pints (Irish Folk), Forever Abbey Road and Beatles 4 Sale.

Q & A

1.Favorite Beatles Album: A Hard Days Night, the most quintessential album they ever made. Every song was an original and a hit! Rockers, ballads, attitude, tenderness and that great 12 string guitar sound…this album had it all!

2.Favorite Beatle: John Lennon- John Lennon had the attitude and drive for the band. He had those amazing screams, and rock n’ roll vocals like on” Rock n Roll Music” alongside his tender side with songs like “In my life”.

3.Musical Influences: As far as influences, I’m all over the place but, here are the big ones: Eddie Cochrane, the Beatles, The Beach Boys, James Taylor, DcTalk, The Newsboys, Chicago, Gin Blossoms and of course, Radiohead.

4.Current artist I’m listening to: Dawes, Cake and The Police. I like to dig into one album from a couple artists every week and listen on repeat to really “get” the music.

5.Favorite food on the road: Three way tie between pizza, tacos and Ravioli.
